Canned air fryer potatoes are an easy and quick way to make everyone's favorite golden and crispy roast potatoes.
Also known as tinned potatoes, they are peeled and fully cooked, making air frying them a faster process!
Seasoned with 2 kitchen staple ingredients, Italian seasoning and garlic powder. These will eliminate the 'canned' flavor that is often accompanied with canned veggies.
They go well as a side dish with my Easy Individual Quiches with Puff Pastry or a piece of meat like steak or chicken.

- Whole canned potatoes - any brand of whole potatoes.
- Olive oil - can be substituted with another vegetable oil of your choosing but olive oil does create a great crisp exterior.
- Dried Italian seasoning - typically consisting of rosemary, thyme, basil, oregano and marjoram. Substitute with any of these singular dried herbs using the same quantity or use them in their fresh state.
- Garlic powder - adds so much flavor! Can be substituted with fresh minced garlic (1-2 cloves) or onion powder.

Step one: Place a sieve over a bowl and drain potatoes through the sieve and discard the liquid. Alternatively, slightly open the can of potatoes and drain off the liquid in the sink.
Step two: Place potatoes in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Drizzle over olive oil and sprinkle in garlic and Italian seasoning then toss to coat.
Step three: Pour potatoes into the air fryer basket and bake at 400ºF (200ºC) for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket occasionally during cooking. Serve immediately and enjoy!

- If you're using more than one can of potatoes, don't overcrowd your air fryer basket as they won't cook evenly. To prevent this without having to cook them in batches, shake your air fryer during baking to toss the potatoes so they cook evenly.
